Jennifer Smith - Data Analytics, Causal Analysis and CAPA
I bring over 15 years of federal service experience specializing in problem resolution and data analytics. As one of only two corporate-level subject matter experts for problem resolution at the largest public shipyard on the West Coast, I mentored leadership across departments in identifying systemic issues, guiding investigations, and strengthening organizational capability in root causal analysis and CAPA. I also developed and automated the shipyard’s performance metric suite, enabling leaders to spot trends, prioritize action, and track progress. Today, I focus on building practical analytics and automation tools that reduce complexity, improve workflows, and support faster, smarter decision-making. My work is grounded in real-world operations and guided by the belief that the best systems serve both performance and people.
